President Buhari conferred with 2 Chieftancy Titles in Ebonyi

President Muhammadu Buhari, has been conferred with 2 chieftaincy titles in Ebonyi State.
The official Twitter account of the president @NGRPresident shared photos of him receiving the titles, Enyioma 1 of Ebonyi, and Ochioha Ndi Igbo 1.
The president also attended the unveiling of the statue of one of the founding fathers of Nigeria Akanu Ibiam.
The Twitter account also revealed President Buhari inaugurated 2 multi-billion naira flyover projects built by the Ebonyi State Government on a section of the African Trans-Saharan Highway that runs through Enugu, Cross River, and Cameroon.

The newly-appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on Tuesday had a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.  Emerging from the meeting, he told newsmen that he will work to ensure more cooperation between government ministries and departments. “Nigeria is not in lack of information and policy formulation, sometimes it is the synergy of those policies for the purposes of attending the goal that has been lacking,” he said. “I think those are some of the things that I am going to bring to the office. Archaeologists find gates of Hell in Saudi Arabia

When researchers are searching for remnants of structures and settlements constructed by ancient peoples they typically focus on areas that are hospitable to human life. According to BGR News, new discovery in Saudi Arabia goes firmly against that notion, with archaeologi sts revealing the existence of hundreds of stone “gates” situated in and around ancient lava domes, in an area that is little more than a hellish landscape devoid of vegetation and water. The structures, which measure anywhere from 40 feet to nearly 1,700 feet in length, are crude in their construction, built of rough rocks that have withstood thousands of years of wear and tear. Egypt executes 15 over Sinai attack.

Egypt has hanged 15 militants who were convicted of carrying out attacks on security forces in the Sinai Peninsula in 2013, authorities say. According to reporters, the executions were carried out yesterday  at two prisons in the north of the country, where the men were held. They were convicted of killing soldiers, carrying out assassinations, and destroying military vehicles. It was the first mass execution in the country since six jihadists were hanged in 2015. Sinai has in recent years been beset by an insurgency, with jihadist groups including so-called Islamic State (IS) attacking targets including army, police and judges. Last week, IS blew up a grounded helicopter with an anti-tank missile at a North Sinai airport, killing an army officer and wounding two others.
